
Start on the outside. Place brush at a slant where the teeth and the gums meet.
Brush gently, using short strokes or “wiggling” motion.

Brush inside of back teeth, upper and lower, with the same gentle motion.

Brush inside of the front teeth, upper and lower. Use the tip of the brush to pull up and down.

Brush gently across the top, where you chew, to clean out all the grooves. Brush your tongue too.

Flossing is important because it helps remove plaque from between your teeth and under your gums. Ask your dentist of hygienist to show you to floss.
